If there is every a Vampire Huntress movie, first and foremost, only prominent actors should be in it. Having said that, here are some of my ideal actors for the job:

Marlene - Vivica Fox

Big Mike or Shabazz - Michael Clarke Duncan

Lilith - Vanessa Williams

Rider - Dogg, the Bounty Hunter

Jose - that hunk for CSI: Miami, Adam Rodriquez

J.L. - my favorite Law & Order SVU cop - Christopher Meloni

Dante or Father Patrick - Daniel Byrne, he's played a priest and the devil in many movies very well

I'm with you so far on most of your picks. Gabriel Byrnes is a great choice for Father Pat. Yeah, he seems to like to play men of the cloth.

Christopher Meloni as JL?????? I love the guy, but can't see him as JL, who is Asian. Unfortunately in this country we're not exposed to a lot of Asian actors unless they're in a kung fu movie. I was on somebody's website where she had this picture of this extremely hot Asian guy. Have no idea what his name is but he was fine! Whoever he is, he's my pick! And that Dog guy as Rider? Nah, Viggo Mortenson!!!

BTW, love Gabriel Byrne as Father Pat and Vanessa Williams as Lilith. That's good. Hadn't thought of them before.

OOOPSS! Sorry forgot, JL was Asian and its sucks that I cannot think of one Asian actor to be him...Rider is a bit rough around the edges with such a big big heart, that's why Dogg came to mind...he's just like that and that's sort of who I picture when I'm reading the story.

What about Ice-T as Shabazz??

Ice-T is to light to be Shabazz. But maybe he could play Yonnie.

I can get that, as I don't have a firm pic of what Yonnie looks like in my mind. I still think Michael Clark Duncan has Big Mike written all over him!!

Hi,

Inez is described as brown-skinned and thick with micro-braids. Juanita is lighter and thick, which is why I picked Sara.

Juantia is thick and Inez is a BBW, not the same thing.

After a book or two Inez does slim down from being a BBW to being thick like Sara, but still bigger than Juanita which is why I thought Inez would be a better match.

But Juanita's description, as per the books, is more consistant with Sara, which is why I picked her, since she is full-figured. Everyone is entitled to her or his opinion. It's supposed to be a light-hearted discussion.
